Rhoda was probably named after her paternal grandmother. It's likely Rhoda's mother died during childbirth. Rhoda's father Dred had remarried by 1810, with Rhoda and sister Margaret living with their maternal grandmother. In 1820 they were living with Dred again, along with two stepbrothers and two stepsisters all born after 1810. Much of the family migrated to Kentucky in the 1820s.
Rhoda and her children show up in the 1850 census of Marshall County, Kentucky.
Peggy Shaffer filled in most of the details.
