They lived in Stark, Ohio.
Sanford Gottshall (Gotchall, Gotshall, Gottchall) worked as a bookkeeper for a coal mine in 1910, a weigher for a coal mine in 1920, and a laborer (odd jobs) in 1930. His father may have been Douglass Wilson Gottshall, who lived next door in 1930.
In 1920, Douglass Gottshall was working as an electrician for an electrical company. He was a boarder in the same house in Canton, Ohio as his great-aunt Caroline's son Oscar Corell. The other boarders were Samuel Alpher (b 1896), John Smith (b 1895), and Gertrude Leinveilier (b 1897). Ruth N Grace (b 1881) is landlady. In 1930 Douglass is living with his aunt & uncle Nettie + William Gotshall in Dunkirk, New York, working as a salesman in the store that William owns. I have no record of Douglass ever marrying.
