Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse

One of my very favorite places to visit in
this beautiful country of ours, is the Northern
California coast. This lovely Bed and Breakfast,
Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse, is located on
California's scenic Highway One, right along the ocean,
just south of Mendocino and Little River.
I often enjoy staying here when I go
to Mendocino. I love to watch the antics of my favorite
western bird, the California Quail, just outside my window.
This piece is treated as a vignette because I loved
the line drawing so much, I wanted to let some of
it show. Often I cover all my ink line completely
with colored pencil, but on occasion, I fall in love
with the preliminary line drawing and just cannot
bring myself to cover it completely, so, I just have
to leave some of it show.
