Artist's Statement:

I enjoy working on location, whether making Botanical studies from gardens or selecting forest floor microcosms from the abundant flora and fauna of our woodlands. Though I work in watercolors, oils and pastels on occasion, I prefer the control and convenience of colored pencil pigments over an under work of fine ink line, even at the cost of labor intensity. I feel my work is a gift for me from God and its process brings me great joy and is very healing. I hope my work reflects my passion for my subjects and their Master Creator.
