This was the last cartoon I ever wrote. The girl was a real student, she worked the front desk of my dorm my senior year.
In order to draw this, I needed a girl to pose with her legs crossed. I had no girl friends so I picked a girl at random and asked her to pose. I gave her a topology book to pose with. She had quite a different mannerism than the girl here, though. She had good posture and kept herself taught and nervous. So the posing was pretty worthless. "You wouldn't believe the nonsense in this book," she said, and tried to read some. Actually she'd hit one of the most comprehensible pages in it (in my opinion).
